Tickle Lipo is a brand new type of liposuction. According to the Tickle Lipo, it involves Nutational Infrasonic Liposuction, an FDA approved method which uses low frequency infrasonic vibrations in order to aid in allowing both less work/motion for the plastic surgeon and easier removal of fat. They claim “reduced risk, less trauma, bruising, and swelling, greater comfort, and faster recovery” as well. But the real question is: Is this really true? Will this technique make all the other forms of liposuction obsolete? On their site, there’s a local news segment with a doctor who combines Smart Lipo with Tickle Lipo in order to achieve a large amount of fat removal with maximal skin tightening. Sounds all dandy and good, right? Unfortunately, he is an internal medicine specialist and not plastic surgeon.
